About Victor

I have been serving as a member of the Niagara Falls City Council for the past 24 years and I have always enjoyed being involved in shaping and molding the future of our City.  I was born and raised in Niagara Falls and I have been an active member of our City Council throughout my tenure.

To this end, I have always believed in taking an active leadership role on City Council.  Currently, I am the Chairman of:

  • the City’s Finance Committee (which most notably approves our City budgets)
  • the City’s Committee of Adjustments (which deals with minor variances and land severance applications)
  • the City’s Park in the City Committee (which deals with beautification projects and environmental issues in our City)
  • Sleep Cheap/WonderFalls Pass (which purchases accessible playground equipment for City parks)

Outside of politics, my wife Anita and I are both high school teachers in Niagara Falls.  After having taught Math and Business for many years, I am now working with children who have special needs at Saint Michael High School.  My wife teaches French, Italian, and Fitness at A.N. Myer Secondary School.  Together, we are the proud parents of three lovely children: Victor (age 16), Rhiannon (age 12) and Remy (age 10).  Maintaining a healthy and active lifestyle and spending time together as a family are important to both of us.

On October 22nd, 2018, I will once again be asking for your support.  Throughout my time on City Council, I have always brought to the table a sensible and grounded approach to problem solving while addressing the needs of the community in a fiscally responsible manner.  It is my hope that I will continue to serve the needs of our community.  I thank you in advance for your on-going support.
